Michael Bethel: Lead Guitar

Playing guitar was all Mike ever wanted to do as a kid and that desire is still with him to this day. Mike has played in wedding bands for most of his professional career, which at last count exceeds 25 years of experience. Former bands he has played with in the area include Mirage and Oasis. He is the “point man” for Rendition and is usually the one doing the talking when he can get a word in over the ladies of the band. Mike is also the business leader of Rendition and any questions relating to booking or special requests can be directed to him.

  • CEO/President of Progressive Mortgage Corp.
  • Mike loves to play golf and carries a 5 handicap on the course.
  • Loves outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, snowmobiling and skiing.

Tom Ferraiola: Drums

Tom has been playing drums since he was twelve. Besides percussion he also plays piano and guitar. Although harmonies are his forte, he also sings lead in many of the songs Rendition covers. He has been in numerous successful bands over the years and has been performing at weddings for over 25 years. Tom is one of the main driving forces in Rendition and is the main reason why your guests will never stop dancing!

  • Tom is a physical fitness enthusiast who enjoys all sports and a good work out.
  • Tom is very proud of the fact that he can't blow bubbles, whistle, or make crackling noises with gum.
  • Born on Friday the 13th on Elm St. - this should have given his wife Sandy (Renditions other female vocalist) fair warning about Tommy!

Chris DiFrancesco: Saxophone

A classically trained clarinetist, Chris has wide ranging professional experience with recording and touring credits in the US and abroad. Fluent in many styles and genres, his saxophone work is inspired by the great “Honk & Shout” players of the 1950’s and 60’s like Lee Allen, Red Prysock, and King Curtis. In addition to Rendition, Chris is the driving force behind Shorty King’s Clubhouse, plays and arranges for the Bonneville Horns, The Chris O’Leary Band, and can often be found at various jam sessions throughout the Hudson Valley area.

  • Chris enjoys old and strange movies, cooking, supporting local business and planning world domination.
  • Chris is a beer judge and is recognized by the Beer Judge Certification Program.
  • Once met David Bowie at an Enterprise Car Rental.

Barry Lesser: Keyboard

Barry has been attached to a keyboard entertaining and teaching people for as long as he can remember. His first steady gigs were his Grammar School Auditorium and the Middle School Teen Center. Since then he’s moved on to become involved in everything from original recording bands, college bar rock bands, country bands, solos and duets, to corporate, wedding, and lounge bands. He loves entertaining anyone he comes across and continues to adapt his musical style to the musical “genre of the day”.

Previous Bands include:

  • “Task” – Opened for Don McLean, played functions in Grand Ballroom Waldorf Astoria, Windows On The World, etc..
  • “Bootleg” – Country Rock Band. New York City area & Hamptons. Fiddle player was Soozie Tyrell now in the E-Street Band.
  • “Easy Money” – Original live & recording band played showcases and best clubs in new York City & Hamptons, Famous people always in the audience (ie: Billy Joel, Paul Simon)

Gary Rispoli: Bass Guitar

Gary is one of the best musicians in the band. He works at his craft tirelessly perfecting his parts. His bass lines are punchy and tight, keeping the rhythm for the rest of the band to follow. Gary wanted to play the bass as a kid for the same reason as every other musician - to be cool and meet girls! Many years have passed since then and now his goals have slightly changed. He wants to be the best person and musician he can be.

  • Previous bands include Future Tense and The Cousins Band.
  • Has played well over 1,000 professional performances.
  • Enjoys Italian food
  • He is still cool in our book!

Sandy Ferraiola: Vocalist

Taught by some of the best in the area, Sandy has been studying voice since she was a child. From Patsy Cline to Pat Benatar, Sandy's vocal styles are as eclectic and chameleon-like as they come. Whether it’s belting out a rock classic or giving her "rendition" of a melodic standard, her vocal performances are always dynamic and invigorating!

  • When she's not performing she enjoys working out, cooking and watching a great old classic film.
  • Sandy has a strange aversion to peas and raisins (must be a kid thing).
  • Sandy can probably quote any Brady Bunch or Little Rascal's episode known to man.

Lybbia Cabello: Lead Vocalist

Libby has been singing our female Lead Vocals for the last few years and was formally with the Matt Jordan Motown Funk Band. Her powerful voice is the backbone of the “Rendition sound” and her stage presence is every bit as exciting. Her inspirations are Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Taylor Dane, and Chaka Khan. When not singing, Libby can be found at her other business – a professional hair dresser for over 15 years.

  • Winner of Multiple singing competitions throughout the Tri-State area.
  • Learned to sing the phonebook at three years old.
  • Enjoys working out.
  • Most of all Libby loves to shop!
